Textio and Kelly win Stevie International Business Award

Kelly honored with “HR Team of the Year” award for work with Textio

When we expanded Textio document types to include employer brand content, we were immediately impressed by how global workforce solutions company Kelly took advantage of the new capabilities. It turns out we’re not the only ones who noticed—Kelly’s work with Textio has just won them the Silver Stevie International Business Award for HR Team of the Year.

The award recognizes the Kelly team for their work revamping their materials to be more inclusive. This effort was part of the launch of their Equity@Work initiative to break down barriers that prevent people from finding meaningful work. The team used Textio to reimagine every touchpoint for candidates and employees and make sure they included inclusive language and reflected their values. Here are a few of the judges’ comments about the work:

"Kelly raised the bar by launching Equity@Work and revamping all their processes and documentation with the aim of helping more people have an equal opportunity in finding jobs."

"The company is paving the way for future practices in recruitment. Implementing strategies to address diversity and inclusion is critical to talent management—kudos to the team for conducting research and applying well thought out approaches to address potential issues."

"The changes that were implemented [in their materials] helped the company continue growing, recruiting, and impact the lives of people through the challenges of a difficult year."

"Humanizing communications and focusing on empathy, and advocating for these approaches through like-minded leaders and organizations … all have positive effects on communities."

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program, and drew over 3,700 entries from 63 countries. Congratulations, Kelly!

Since the launch of Textio for Employer Brand, hundreds of customers have infused inclusive, on-brand language into more than just their job posts and recruiting mails, but also brand content like their career websites, newsletters, and blogs. We also recently expanded the feature to help people write their LinkedIn posts and comments.
