Textio turns three
A few weeks ago, some of us from Textio were fortunate enough to spend the day with Johnson & Johnson. Throughout the day, we met with people in a variety of roles, from recruiters using Textio with their hiring managers, to people analytics experts, to executives with an innovative vision for talent at Johnson & Johnson.
It’s a rare opportunity to get to hear first-hand from such a diverse group. We were struck by the values alignment across the organization, but also the practical difference in perspective according to people’s roles. As the owner of a software solution that Johnson & Johnson uses, I was reminded of the importance of meeting the goals of the executive team — by meeting the needs of the recruiters and hiring managers who use Textio every day.
Textio marked its third birthday this past weekend. (We celebrated in true Textio style, with a family field trip to see a raptor at the zoo.) In light of the milestone, our visit with Johnson & Johnson (and several similar upcoming visits we have to customers this fall) is very much on my mind right now.
If our first year was about getting Textio Talent launched and our second was about getting Textio out to companies worldwide, our third year has been laser-focused on augmented writing as a platform. Textio’s engine is now built on 300 million job posts with outcomes attached, with companies like Credit Suisse, CVS, NVIDIA, and many more using Textio every single day.
As we continue to build, the focus for our fourth year is very simple: it is about the people who use Textio to write. We know that there is a lot more we can do to extend Textio beyond job posts into other related kinds of writing. We know there are opportunities to improve the ways that Textio fits into your day-to-day workflow. We know it would be powerful to show you the direct impact of your words on applicants in real-time, so that for anything you write, you know exactly who is going to respond.
If you’re using Textio to write at work, our fourth year is all about you. Please tell us what you like and don’t like, what you need and what you’d change. We’ve set up birthday@textio.com especially to hear your suggestions. Please do share them!
Thank you so much for joining us on this journey. We’re just getting started!
