We’re excited to announce that next week we’ll post the video from our first public workshop on how to write better job postings using data insights from Textio’s predictive engine. When it comes to recruiting, the way you write a job posting has a big impact on who chooses to apply, and who ends up getting hired — especially in the highly competitive and diversity-challenged tech industry.

In our first workshop video, Textio Customer Success Engineer Allie Hall walks us through the data anatomy of a typical job listing, using statistical insights from Textio’s set of 100 million+ job posts and their real-world hiring outcomes. Find out what this data says about how to write the most effective and efficient job postings, and what to look for in your writing that will attract a more qualified, more diverse talent pool faster.

Allie spends much of her time at Textio working directly with customers to explore how the words they choose impact their hiring results, both in the past and in the future. Part linguist, part data scientist, and part educator, Allie holds a degree in Linguistics from the State University of New York at Binghamton, and previously worked on the technology team at Edelman Public Relations.

This workshop grew out of a popular seminar that Allie has been presenting to Textio customers, but there are so many valuable learnings in it that we decided we should make it available to everyone. So stay tuned, we’ll post a link to this workshop video next week!
