Kieran Snyder recognized for exceptional leadership by Seattle Business magazine
A 10-year study of 17,000 executives known as the CEO Genome Project showed that successful leaders are exceptionally strong in four areas:
- Making quick, confident decisions
- Securing alignment among employees and stakeholders
- Adapting fast, in fast-changing environments
- Producing results (no surprise there)
In choosing the 2020 recipients for its annual Executive Excellence Awards, Seattle Business magazine had these qualities in mind. And we’re delighted, though not surprised, that our co-founder and CEO Kieran Snyder has been selected as an honoree.
She’s in good company—and they, likely, are in good companies: Among recipients, organizational culture was frequently cited as important to business success.
It’s doubly important to us.
In celebrating Kieran, the magazine noted Textio’s rapid growth and industry-leading customers, as well as the breadth of data and sophistication of techniques and technologies that power Textio software. It also highlighted Kieran’s background in linguistics and cognitive science; experience at Microsoft and Amazon; and her special work coaching, mentoring, and teaching kids. Congratulations, Kieran!
